Our Aspergers Teenage Boy

Tommy returned from his grandparents and put on a show for them as they left. He does that because he doesn’t know how to express the jealously or want for them to not leave or whatever it is he is feeling. He had a great afternoon and is now watching Star Trek IV – The Voyage Home after he had informed his shocked parents that he did not know what Star Trek was and had never seen the television show or any of the movies.

Tommy has returned from the grandparents. He and his grandfather watched The Dirty Dozen (yuck). He walked in his room and immediately called bio dad. Bio dad was busy with his new family and couldn’t talk. Tommy got off the phone talking and acting goofy. I asked him why he called bio dad and he said “Because I don’t know anyone else to call.
