Tommy came home from the doctor’s looking like he’d had a major victory. “I really AM sick! Can we put the PS2 in my room now?” And we did, of course.

Wednesday, February 25th, 2004After playing with blocks Tommy asked if he could PS2 or do some chores for money. He doesn’t seem very sick to me. Dad has Tommy at the pediatrician now. Tommy is hoarse but that’s pobably from screaming for hours last night.

Wednesday, February 25th, 2004 Dad reports:
Tommy’s bus called to say she is running late and will be here after 8 (arrived 7:45). Tommy on his own worked 4 math problems before I returned from carpool on his home work and got another 8 done in a 30 minute time span. He did just about the same amount of work that took him 3 hours last night.
He walked to the bus exaggering his cough. I hollered to him to “cough, but don’t exaggerate it.” I sent a note that he will go to the doctor’s today or tomorrow which is fine because we have a form that needs to be filled out by the doctor asap anyway.

Wednesday, February 25th, 2004Dad reports This Morning:
Tommy received medicine at 6:28. I listened to him from 5-6:30 and he mostly slept soundly however he had 2 distinct yet brief coughs. There were no where near the exaggerated coughing show he is putting on for everyone but I do believe he has some congestion that is causing him to cough. The problem is that Tommy likes to make things bigger than they really are.
