Mom says:

Got up in time to kiss Tommy and listen to him run several sentences together before the bus arrived. As he walked to the bus Amy sang “schoolbus, schoolbus”. I picked Tommy up early and learned that he had fallen in mud during p.e. He came home in borrowed sweats and a t-shirt. Tommy complained that other children teased and made fun of him the entire day. “But I told the teacher when one boy said that he had f-worded you.” Tommy censored his tormenter for me.

Dad reports This Morning:
Received medicine at 6:20.
Tommy showing defiance at getting up. It’s not the normal teen “I don’t want to get up.” It is more of a “I won’t move until you prompt my every movement.”

Today we visit his doctor to report that the medicine he is on seems perfect. However, we will bring up the question of whether or not this is the correct time to start weening him from the medicine (a goal that may not be achievable).
