Tommy went to the park and sat in the middle of a climbing gym reading D&D. Afterward he went in the store with me and got angry when I left his side, so he had me paged. He has me paged a LOT. It used to be embarrassing. Now it’s just routine. When we came home Tommy and Dad had a little tiff in the yard but Tommy recovered quickly. He bathed, ate dinner neatly and now he’s in bed. Early lights out because of T-caps for the next 10 days.

The Tommy and Doug head-butting resumes.

Tommy started his day at 9:30. Why wouldn’t he sleep in last week when I was home alone and he was so horribly out-of-control?

I got a quote back from one of the specialty boarding schools. It cost $6000 per month. So, if we had no other bills, cancelled all our utilities and stopped eating we could work 3 months to pay for one month so that Tommy could get an education instead of the babysitting he’s getting at school right now. OR some celebrity could buy one less Oscar outfit.

I think he stirs but stays hidden under the covers.

Dad reports this morning:
Tommy stayed up late last night reading Dungeons and Dragons books. I need to work hard to get him in a game. We had to put the motion sensor back in the kitchen to keep him from grazing. He is sleeping in now. I am torn between waking him and giving him his medicine and leaving him alone. I think I’ll give him 15 more minutes.
