Tommy has calmed down about the bunny but it is still bothering him.

Tommy found a dead baby bunny out front. It was torn and bleeding but also recently deceased as evidenced by the occasional twitching. He begged me to “Fix it Mom. Make it better. Please.” We talked and now he’s having a bunny funeral. He’s also cursing the outside cat.

I just asked for information packets from three boarding schools for Aspergers students. A pointless activity because we can’t afford a good school and I will NOT send Tommy to a hospital environment.

Tommy had a tantrum because he was the only child in the cove not on wheels. he threw something at Sarah and although it hit her, she didn’t wreck. I called him in and sent him to his room for a time-out. His room has a small tv, music, game boy, books and toys. Not much of a punishment. Tommy got hysterical at being confined to his room and screamed and wailed. “I’m suffocating. You have to open my door. I’m gonna die.” Noah, the family worrier, came to me with tears in his eyes asking why I was hurting Tommy. I tried to describe what was happening to Noah but I think he is still convinced that Tommy is being abused. I am so tired of Tommy’s tantrums over nothing.

Last night Tommy fell asleep in the bathtub and because we had a guest in the house I had agreed that Tommy could have the bathroom door locked. I pounded and screamed as I worked myself into a hysterical frenzy and all I got in return was silence. I frantically tried getting the doorknob off but the very old knob had stripped screws. I was about to break the door down when the knob finally gave and I went in the bathroom to find Tommy sleeping and SNORING through the entire episode. He was very confused and dazed as I forced him out of the bath and into his bed. Today he probably doesn’t even remember what happened.

Tommy did ok at STAR and was moderately calm in the car. He only asked for something a hundred times at the grocery and he ate dinner at the same speed as all of the children. Now he’s outside complaining because he has no bike or scooter to ride when every other child out there is on some sort of wheels.

Tommy says he’s going to sue me to get payment for the hard work he did on the car. When I told him Josh’s older brother is in the house he quit screaming. Amazing.

Had to pull Tommy away from the car wash and now he is in full hysterics. Screaming, crying. “I don’t CARE about going to STAR! I need to make MONEY!” I tried closing his door and we got into a physical tug-of-war over the door being open or closed. I ended up slapping his arm. I am the worst mother in the world.
