Tommy’s teacher is out this whole week. Were we notified? Warned? Communicated with? Of course not! Because the school has a “don’t talk” policy (unwritten of course).

I want to know how it is that Tommy was allowed to wander of. The school absolutely does not monitor him and then punishes him for their negligence!

He is being suspended for spitting on a teacher after he was brought into a noisy group environment (a program in the gym) and allowed to wander under the stands.

As I returned from car pool, I saw Tommy’s bus in front of the house just sitting there. I assumed Tommy had not come out of the house and I rushed to urge him on. Couldn’t find him then the bus drove off. I suppose he was on it.

Dad reports this morning:
Tommy is up and dressed. Now I leave to take the other kids to school and Tommy is free to rummage through the house and sneak to school whatever he wants. D: “You going to try combing that hair today Tommy?” T: “Probably.”

Dad reports last night:
Tommy had one fight in the yard over stacking wood. He didn’t mind helping when it meant sitting on a log pushing a lever up and down but when it came to actually doing something labor intensive he preferred to yell, whine, cry and picked at a scab on his knee until it bleed hoping that injury would get him out of his duties.
