Dad reports:
Tommy is doing “attention gathering” manic laughter and has suckered his 8 year old brother into making the same exaggerated crazy laughter.

Dad reports this morning:
Tommy woke up and got dressed but instead of bringing his medicine down as he has been taught he went to play in Noah’s room. When I found him he was on his elbows and knees with his hind quarters stuck up in the air. After questioning him about why he didn’t bring his medicine down I asked him to get up and get his medicine. He just swayed his bottom slowly back and forth. I couldn’t resist the target and gave a light tap with my foot. He went ballistic.

He has now returned to bed. His new mode of operation is that after any confrontation he returns to hide in bed for 2 hours.

Dad reports last night:
Tommy and I played Dungeons and Dragons with a 14 yr old, his 10 yr old sister, their dad, and his friend (as DM). We had a wonderful start to a campaign and hope to continue weekly (next week a holiday skip of course).

Tommy remained in such good spirits and self control that I did not give him his evening medicine (normally 6:30) until 8:45! We played until nearly 10 oclock! Tommy didn’t want to quit talking, had an ear to ear grin on most of the evening, and toward the end wanted to get silly but really fought to hold it back. I was quite proud of him.
