Mom reports: Yesterday Tommy asked when we would be going to our favorite used book store and I gave the standard parental “tomorrow” but realizing immediately that I had just committed myself. Today he walked in the door from school and proceeded to ask every 5 minutes “Is it time yet” until I said “OK”. He gleefully collected D&D books and walked out of the store saying “I’m happy” over and over again. He has been glued to the books ever since. Now I must convince him to change clothes for horseback riding.

Tommy is home and talking a mile a minute. He is totally jazzed that they are going to Eddie McKay’s (used book store).

Tommy won’t get up for me. He has been stirring since before I went up to give him medicine. Amy walks into his room and cheerfully says “Oh, hi Tom!” and he perks right up and says back “Oh, Hi Amy!” Good interaction.
