Dad reports:
Tommy is proud of the fact that he is lazy. He frequently touts “I’m lazy!” I wish I had a way to show him that his “laziness” creates more work for him than just doing something right. Tommy also goes out of his way to not do things. He will put 10 times the effort into not doing something than it would have taken just to do it.

Dad reports this morning:
Tommy sleeps.

Dad reports last night:
Tommy was much more together at D&D. It may have helped that his character was dead most of the adventure but it gave Tommy the opportunity to learn how to sit and be calm and quiet. Hopefully he did some good obversation. Mind you, he was a participant in last night activities; I do not want to give the impression that he was shoved in a corner and ignored. Tommy had a good time.

The negatives: His deoderant failed him. At one point the DM tells him to simply listen and 20 seconds into his chat Tommy wants to interupt with “For example” (acting like a know it all) and I interupt Tommy to let the DM continue and this attempt to interupt and my intervention went on probably 8-12 times before Tommy finally shot me an angered look and let it go. He never did get his “for example” out and that was good because it wasn’t his place to speak. At one point he aggrivated his friend by saying he was going to go upstairs to his room despite his friend asking that Tommy not. Tommy thought he was being funny and was just trying to engage his friend but he actually angering his friend. That is a great example of how Tommy’s brain works and why he has so much difficulty with people.
