How it feels to be Tommy.

How it feels to be Tommy.
Dad reports this morning:
Tommy continues to sleep (11am).
At 8:30am he was yelling at his sister who was in his room for some reason (I assume she wanted to play her new playstation2 game). She leaves and I walk in with his medicine. He pretends to sleep not responding to my repeated requests to sit up and take his medicine until I say “you were just yelling at your sister. Quit pretending.” Pop! Like a jack in the box in sits up. I’d like to let that boil my blood instead I just feel a sense of hopelessness that he will just never try to get along with others.
Dad reports:
At 2:25am Tommy is wide awake watching dvds. I turn off the tv and Tommy states “I guess I should go to bed.”
