Dad reports:
Mom and I had a talk with Tommy yesterday and asked him to say what was on his mind. He said, “I don’t want to be yelled at or slapped.” We said no guarantees but we’d try.
Tommy then spouted out, “No offense but I think you two are stupid. You’re idiots.”
Our reply, “We know. You’ve been telling that to {bio-dad} for 2 years.”
Besides, don’t all teenagers think their parents are stupid.
Dad reports this morning:
The doctors concur that school at this point is a waste of effort particularly if every day Tommy is going to come home early. Tommy will return to school in January. This morning I am letting him sleep in.
