Dad reports:
Tommy put much effort into trying to get my ire tonight. I didn’t break. He says “you yell at me constantly.” I have yelled at him only once since December 11th. He basically talked rudely, in a raised angry voice for 3 hours tonight before retiring to soak in the tub. He refuses to scrub and only has soap on his body because Mom squirted the soap for him. His voice is loud, sharp, snappy and angry. Angry in that kind of way that makes the blood vessel in your temple pulse. Angry in that “I’m going to turn green and shred things” way.
The 2.5 year old is now repeating his words, actions, growling, noises and nasty tone. Tommy’s “Nnnnyang” which he does to effectively say “no, I’m not going to do what you say” when asked to do something eeked from her lips this evening. How do we reverse the damage?
